This six-hour boat trip pairs fishing in Nuuk Fjord with a meal at one of Greenland's most remote restaurants.
Lines drop into clear, cold water above some of the fjord's best cod and redfish grounds, and what you catch becomes lunch. The fishing itself is unhurried. Our local captains know which stops produce the best catches at which point in the season.
From the boat we sail to Qooqqut Nuan, a peaceful valley restaurant with mountains on every side. The chef takes your fresh fish, fillets it, and prepares it three ways from a Greenlandic-Thai menu. The setting is small and warm, the food is honest, and the silence between courses is part of the meal.
Fish for cod and redfish off the boat, then sail into the fjord where your catch is grilled and served at Qooqqut Nuan. The whole trip is built around the fish and how good it tastes after you've caught it yourself. Book your seat below.

Qooqqut Nuan, the only restaurant inside the Nuuk Fjord system, prepares your freshly caught fish on the spot or welcomes you to their full menu.

Inside, photographs and old maps trace the history of Qooqqut Nuan, while the windows open onto the fjord itself.

Qooqqut Nuan sits in a valley with no road to it. The only way in is the way you arrive, by boat through the fjord, which is part of why a meal there feels earned.
The kitchen works with what the water and the season provide and pairs Greenlandic fish with a Thai twist when cooking. You eat with the fjord in the windows and the mountains close on either side.

Some days, the fjord is completely still—until the sudden, breathtaking sight of a whale’s tail breaking the surface reminds you just how wild this place really is.

Located deep inside Nuuk Fjord, it offers an unforgettable “fjord-to-table” experience, where the fish you catch just hours earlier is transformed into a meal by skilled chefs. The setting is spectacular and cozy, surrounded by rugged peaks and untouched wilderness, making it one of the most unique dining destinations in Greenland.
