A New Year – Looking back on a remarkable 2025
As we step into a new year, we find it meaningful to pause and reflect. For all of us at Raw Arctic, 2025 will always stand out as a truly defining chapter.
Being awarded the Greenland Tourism Award 2025 is an honour we are deeply grateful for. This recognition is not just a celebration of our work, but a testament to what is possible when passion, community, and perseverance come together.
Raw Arctic began as a simple dream: to merge our passion with our profession. Today, Camp Isua represents that exact vision — a project that once existed only in our imagination and now stands as a living reality.
In just one and a half years, we have grown far beyond our expectations. 2025 became a year of significant development, both professionally and personally. Our team expanded to more than 27 people, we built strong and meaningful partnerships, and we welcomed guests from near and far — locals, families, friends, and international visitors alike.

This year reinforced something we deeply believe in: sustainable tourism in Greenland is built through collaboration. With respect for nature, strong local partnerships, and people at the heart of everything we do. These values will continue to guide us forward.
Behind every success lies hard work, long days, and difficult decisions that often go unseen. If this journey has taught us anything, it is that bold dreams require resilience — and the courage to keep going, even through the challenging moments.
When you aim for the stars, you might just reach the moon. What began as an idea to turn a hobby into a profession has evolved into something far greater — for our team, our partners, and hopefully for the future of sustainable Greenlandic tourism.
Camp Isua was our very first dream. Sharing it today is also an invitation to others: let your dreams guide you, and dare to follow them.
