The cosy terrace of each cabin invites you to slow down, settle in, and take in the view.

The ultimate arctic sauna experience, looking directly into fjords carrying icebergs calved straight from the Greenland Ice Sheet.
On arrival, you'll be greeted by our team and transferred to your Nuuk hotel. Use the afternoon to rest before your departure into the fjord the following morning.
In the evening, an optional dinner and a short briefing introduce you to the camp, the fjord, and the activities available during your stay.

After breakfast, we depart Nuuk by closed Targa boat for the scenic transfer to Camp Itivi, deep inside the Icefjord. Drifting icebergs, towering cliffs, and Arctic silence set the tone.
On arrival, settle into your private cabin and meet your chef and host. The afternoon is yours, first walk on the land, sauna, or a short fjord cruise, depending on conditions.

The middle day is built around your group's wishes.
Meals are prepared by your private chef, highlighting Greenlandic flavours and ingredients sourced from the fjord.

The final morning at camp leaves room for one more activity, a short hike, a cruise past the icebergs, or a slow start with breakfast on the deck.
The boat ride back to Nuuk is a chance to reset before the city. On arrival, check into your hotel for a relaxed final evening.

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Nuuk Airport for your return flight. Depart with the deep quiet of the Icefjord still in your bones.

Camp Itivi sits deep in Nuuk's Icefjord, reached only by boat. The three days are built around what you want and what the fjord is doing that week, whether that means boat trips among the icebergs, a walk on the land, time in the sauna, or nothing at all.
Private cabins look out over the water, and your chef cooks Greenlandic ingredients sourced from the fjord. A host helps plan each day around the conditions.

Even in summer, Arctic waters can be chilly. We recommend:
Our boat has a heated cabin, but you’ll want to step outside to fully experience the icefjord.
What makes this icefjord special is its seclusion and untouched beauty. Unlike the more well-known Ilulissat Icefjord, which sees frequent boat traffic, this bay is remote, with almost no visitors. This means you can experience the silence of the Arctic, undisturbed by crowds. The contrast between the rugged tundra and the ever-changing ice formations makes this a truly unique and immersive Arctic experience you will remember always.
Greenland has many icefjords, but what makes Nuuk special is its accessibility and untouched beauty. Unlike the more famous Ilulissat Icefjord, which is often crowded with visitors, Nuuk’s icefjord is far more remote. This means fewer boats, more silence, and an almost meditative experience as you drift through the ice. The fjord also has a mix of massive icebergs and smaller, crystal-clear pieces that you can touch and even taste when we serve drinks chilled with glacial ice.
Summer in Nuuk is when Greenland is at its most vibrant. The fjords are ice-filled, allowing for stunning explorations by boat, and the long daylight hours provide more time for adventure. Wildlife is also at its peak, with humpback whales returning to the fjords and Arctic flora in full bloom. It’s the season where Greenland’s raw beauty is most accessible, making it the perfect time to experience everything from hiking and paddleboarding to cultural experiences.
Winter in Nuuk is a time of pure Arctic magic. The fjords are covered in white, the mountains are covered in snow, and the crisp, cold air makes the scenery feel even more dramatic. The northern lights dance across the sky on dark, clear nights, and the long winter shadows create a surreal atmosphere. Whether you’re sailing through icy waters, relaxing in an Arctic sauna, or experiencing traditional Greenlandic culture, winter offers a more peaceful and immersive experience than any other season.
Yes! But capturing the auroras requires a bit of technique. A camera with manual settings, a tripod, and a long exposure mode will help you get the best shots. Smartphone cameras have improved a lot, but using night mode or a dedicated aurora photography app will give you better results. Our guides are happy to share tips on how to photograph the lights if you need help.
